Mrs. Thompson listened to my struggles. Money was a huge issue for me, and I kept asking myself how I was going to pay my tuition and get the materials that I needed.  I even invited my counselor to my graduation party. She helped me so much. The day of my party, Mrs. Thompson came and surprised me with bins full of school supplies, food, bed sheets, etc. Mrs. Thompson had created a cyber trunk party for me, where she asked her Facebook friends, co-workers, and family to help me start college off with a good start. This was the most touching thing anyone has ever done for me. Mrs. Thompson and everyone who helped me made me feel as if I had nothing else to worry about. It felt amazing knowing that others cared about my education that much to help get what I needed for college.
