Letter from the Founder

As a school counselor, I often encounter families engaging in the collegiate experience for the first time. Most families are busy securing funds for tuition, books, room & board. Spending little time on ancillary needs. Our hope is to provide the necessary resources for students to get settled into their new lives. How do we do that? By partnering with industry leaders who believe in the future of our students. We are creating a resource system that ensures students receive the appropriate assistance.

So here’s how you can HELP!

You can purchase items directly or donate to the cause. Each purchase will be used to supply a deserving student with a pre-filled Trunk of Love. Here is a brief list of some of our most-needed items: 

• bath towels and wash cloths
• pop-tarts
• bottled water 
• detergent 
• toothpaste 
• toothbrushes 
• pillows 
• laundry baskets
• twin sheets 
• shower caddies
• shower shoes
• mattress pads 
• blankets  
• flash drives
• pens, pencils
• notebooks 
• desk lamps
• mini trash cans             
• non-perishable food items
• gift cards to local restaurant store and stores
